Where am I?

I seem to have trouble keeping up with the blog lately.  It would seem that I am busy.  This doesn't happen to me.  I pride myself on not being busy.  I guess pride really does come before the fall!  Maybe it is because I have 4 kids?  Hmmm.
Anyway, I am working on recovering a couple of love seats for a friend, hemming quite a few pairs of pants for another, need to finish a doll for my daughter who is turning ten in just a few weeks, still working on more pajamas for Drew (I cut out the fabric but still need to get ribbing for the cuffs), and need to get started a jacket for the Jacket a Month challenge I am doing.  Oh, and keep my house clean, bake bread, make dinner every day, make sure my kids do their homework, read the bazillion books on photography and sewing that I got from the library (maybe I should slow down on the books)...
I have decided to begin my jacket sewing adventure with Simplicity 4698.  I am thinking I will make it in a lightweight corduroy.  I just need to make up a muslin so I can check the fit.  This ought to be fun!
